| COURSING SOAPBOX: Please,
People... For years many of you have come out,
maybe tossed a bit of earth in a divot, run your hounds,
gotten your awards, and gone home. That may seem like
enough to you, but consider all the time and effort by
the committed volunteers and participants. They need a
break; some are on the verge of burn-out! You do realize
that without these people, there would be NO COURSING IN
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA... We offer training (on-the-spot
most of the time) and only ask that you care enough for
this sport to get involved in the work. A simple:
"What can I do to help?" would be appreciated
-- of course, we'd hope you'd actually carry out the
assignment given to you. Take over the Paddock duties
between your breed runs? Be the Huntmaster for a couple
of breeds? Work with the Clerk in posting scores? Sell
Raffle tickets and assist with the Draw? ANYTHING!! See

this Website. Please, People... To those who come and
help without a word of appreciation. |
